WSMV 4 App Reviews

I have the settings set to only receive weather updates but for some reason I get notifications for every story they report. Extremely annoying! Ive put up with it for a while but Im deleting as Im tired of getting multiple notifications I dont want to see.

NOBODY wants to be forced to watch an "Escape Day Spa" commercial EVERY time they select a video clip to watch. This is EXTREMELY annoying and wont help this advertiser attract new customers or even retain their current customers! As for WSMV, if this is the only way they can afford to have a presence on the web, maybe they should just shut it down until they can figure it out‼️

When I open up a news app and the first thing is an ad on who to vote for all impartiality goes out the window and so does the app. Be real news and report impartially. Dont use your app to sway voters. Im sick enough of that crap already.

Layout is horrible. Notifications are worse. I turned off all but weather notifications but I kept getting all notifications. If this continues I will delete. As I promised, the notifications werent fixed so now Im deleting. Maybe channel five will be better.

I grew up in Nashville and remember when Demetria joined Ch4. Loved finding this app so I can keep tabs on Nashvegas. But... I think Im less annoyed by banner ads than the big ad that shows up every time I open the app.

The app is rep onside and always updated. However, I think it would be cool if WSMV had a tvOS app for the Apple TV 4 for live streaming.

Use this app daily to watch the live stream. Please add a tvOS app!

Love this App!

I absolutely loved being able to watch the News in the mornings while Im getting ready for work in my bathroom and when I stay with and care for my elderly father and cant turn the TV on that early. During the commercial time of the live broadcast, there would just be silence which was perfect because I hate those commercials anyway. But then, they started not only doing commercials on the app but doing the same ultra annoying commercial EVERY 30 SECONDS! Good bye channel 4, hello channel 5. No commercials there. I never watch anything except 4 but the same commercial every 30 seconds is not happening at my house. They dont do this on the 10 oclock news so I still watch it if I cant be where there is a TV. I would give 5 stars if it werent for this commercial thing.

Interactive app crashes iPhone 6 horrible app.,the main reason people use local news apps is for the weather and they have decided to ignore the issue instead of fix it.

WSMV news is the best. Never miss it. At home on the Telly. If Im out or even in a different state I watch it on my iPhone. Love that 4 Warn weather.

Love the app very useful tool not happy with station because of failing in negotiations with Charter Communications

This is the only way I can get the news and wsmv 4 is the only network I really like. They have started using Kia commercials instead of the 30 or so seconds of silence and well be right back message, also the app "times out" right in the middle of an important story and then I have to wait for it to replay.... Not a fan of that glitch- can you all please fix it so that live truly means live, Or a replay of the live version is the same? Two versions ago it really worked well on the iPhone 5s and 6plus-now,we have glitches...... Thanks for asking!
